Security
Traditionally, many armed military officers were being killed either on land or in air. This is because when flying, the enemy could easily locate the plane used to attack them. They would then send a signal to their base and report them. After many years of research and development (R&D), it was found out that the number of military personnel killed could reduce significantly by using planes which did not require a human being to be in it. These have revolutionised to form the so called radio controlled helicopters. Using these types of planes, a person is not required to be inside the plane. People can control the plane from miles away. When it was implemented by the United States army in the war of Afghanistan, it emerged as a major success. This is because the planes are very accurate even more than the human controlled planes. This is because of the accuracy of their programming and accuracy of the sensors involved. Few people have been killed in the air after the discovery of these planes.
Fire and disaster management
Fire is a good servant but a very bad master they say. When huge incidences of fires are reported, it becomes very difficult to put them off using traditional methods which relied on human controlled aircrafts. These days radio controlled helicopters are used because they can withstand high temperatures.
